A tessellation is created when a shape is repeated
over and over again
covering a plane without any gaps or overlaps.
I made a shape cutting a rectangular piece of paper in a way
that the upper part would fit with the lower part
and the left part would fit with the right one
of the adjacent shapes.
I traced the shape in the whole page and then tried to figure what each form could be.
Birds and fish were invited in our party and then a seal joined in.
All of us had a lot of fun!!!
This is the shape that was repeated in the whole page
you can find more information on tessellation
